Introducing CCWE: Why Competency is the only DEI Skill that Matters

The Competence Centre for Workplace Equity was born out of decades in workplace DEI consulting and years of groundbreaking research with the best minds in the industry.

We’ve worked with global firms, DEI practitioners, and consultancies – all grappling with an increasingly fast changing landscape without seeing much tangible progress.

Over the past 10 years in the workplace DEI space, we’ve witnessed how slow moving this progress has been. And the most common issues we saw arising?

A lack of clarity, competency, and compliance within workplace DEI functions.

The current approach lacks any kind of standard, making it difficult for organisations to identify what "good" looks like, and perpetuating a trust gap in HR and DEI teams. But we don’t have years to wait for human attitudes to change – we have to move the needle faster.

This realisation ignited 4 years of proprietary research with some of the field’s best academics and researchers, and has led us to founding the world’s first competency-based approach to workplace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Introducing CCWE:
The competence centre for workplace equity

The traditional approaches to DEI have left organisations grappling with inefficiency, ambiguity, and a lack of measurable progress. A seismic shift in the way we think about workplace DEI is required. CCWE steps in as the disruptor: offering a revolutionary approach that sets new standards in an unregulated industry, bridges competency gaps, and operationalises DEI with clarity.

Crucially, we are politically and ideologically neutral, which helps us take a compliance-driven approach in our work with clients.

The C3 System

Based on the underlying challenges we’ve seen within workplaces, our approach is framed around the C3 System:

Clarity - providing individual stakeholders in HR, L&D, and DEI with essential knowledge for their roles.

Competency - elevating both individual stakeholders and the function as a whole, fostering true workplace DEI excellence.

Compliance - operationalising the function, enabling organisational maturity, and setting the benchmark for excellence.

How is CCWE 10x better from the current standard?

  • Practical, Tactical & Operational: Unlike existing training, CCWE turns theory into practice for professionals.

  • Political Neutrality: A politically and ideologically neutral approach, a departure from singular narratives which currently dominate workplace DEI.

  • Evidence-Based & Peer-Reviewed: All our work is evidence-based and peer-reviewed, unlike much of the social media led DEI advice you find in the workplace.

  • Technology Forward: To match the pace of progress in other industries, CCWE have developed AI technology to enhance our methodology.

Unleashing Potential

CCWE's innovative C3 system leads to increased productivity, internal competency, qualitative results, and organisational maturity. By focusing on clarity, competency, and compliance – CCWE transforms workplaces, fostering a culture of inclusion and elevating reputations.

Join us on this journey. You can keep approaching DEI the same way and accept mediocre results, or you can take the plunge into our revolutionary approach.
